A while back I posted a series of posts on WordPress SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and different ways in which you can drive more traffic to your site. I thought it might create a useful resource if I incorporated all of these posts into a single page.

A number of different topics are covered in this guide including keyword research, obtaining high-quality backlinks, managing duplicate content, and WordPress SEO plugins.

You don’t need to implement absolutely everything that’s included in the posts below – pick the tips/techniques that are best suited to your site and you should soon start to see a boost in traffic.

    I think you should’ve concentrated more on great content (just touched on in #3). If you do that, none of the other things will matter nearly as much because real people will be doing the gruntwork for you.

      You’re right – great content is absolutely the most important factor – if you regularly publish high-quality content your readers will gladly link to your site, spread the word, and drive traffic. The other tips are still useful in optimizing the content you produce, but there’s no substitute for creating articles, posts, and videos that contain genuinely useful information.
